HISTORY OF OUR WONDERFUL DOG FRIENDS

We got Mocha (the STUD) in November of 2000--little did we realize he would become such a part of our family!  (For a long time, he even slept with us in our bed--Dachshunds love to do this, so that a friend of ours even uses the business name "Bed-Buds" for her Doxies.)

MOCHA:                                                                   LYDIA:

Lydia, our main breeding female, came to us in February, 2003, and Abbey, a long-hair black-and-tan, came in October of 2004.  Our newest addition is Diva, a pretty little red female, became part of our family in March of 2008.

Mocha and Lydia have had 7 litters now, with 33 puppies delivered.  They have been a mix of red (usually with the dark overlay that Mocha and Lydia both have), and black-and-tan (which they both have in their lineage).  Mocha has also sired two other litters with another owner's dog.

We love the dogs, and try to not let them take over too much of our lives!
